Welcome to a space of healing and growth
I'm truly happy you’re here! This is a welcoming space for you to explore, heal, and grow with confidence. Let’s embark on this transformative journey together!
A Little About Me
Navigating the journey of finding the perfect therapist can feel a lot like dating—exciting yet a bit overwhelming! To help you in this process, I’d love to share a bit about myself. I began my therapy career in 2020 after dedicating a wonderful decade to raising my son. This is truly my second act, and I’m passionate about it!
My focus areas include couples therapy, individual therapy, and maternal mental health. Each of my clients brings their own unique story, and this inspires me to use a diverse range of therapeutic methods. I’m well-trained in evidence-based approaches like the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I’m certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. By blending these techniques with my personal insights as a wife, mother, daughter, and friend, I aim to create a genuine connection with my clients. I believe embracing authenticity is key, and I'm dedicated to providing a "compassionately straightforward" space for you to thrive.
Let’s embark on this journey together!
Welcome to My Services
Couples Therapy
As a couples therapist, I’m truly passionate about helping partners build stronger connections! With my training in the Gottman Method, I focus on helping couples learn to manage conflict, deepen friendship and intimacy. Together, we’ll work towards forming a resilient bond that thrives through challenges and brings joy to every aspect of your relationship.
Affair Recovery and Trauma
Navigating the aftermath of an affair can be incredibly challenging for couples. The Gottman Method provides a compassionate, research-based approach to healing the trauma that infidelity often brings. By focusing on building trust, improving communication, and fostering emotional connection, this method guides couples toward understanding the underlying issues that contributed to the betrayal. Through structured exercises and meaningful conversations, partners can work through their hurt and begin to reconstruct their relationship stronger than before. With support, patience, and the tools offered by the Gottman Method, couples can pave the way for lasting recovery and renewed intimacy.
Let’s embark on this journey to create a vibrant and lasting partnership!
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a warm and transformative journey where you can freely share your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe and welcoming space. Your therapist is here to create a trusting environment, so you can comfortably discuss challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues. Using techniques such as active listening and cognitive-behavioral strategies, you'll explore together to gain a deeper understanding of yourself while developing useful coping skills. The goal is to empower you on your path to insight, personal growth, and emotional well-being. Each session is crafted to meet your unique needs, making therapy a meaningful and effective experience for your healing journey.
Maternal Mental Health
Taking care of mental health during the transition to parenthood is essential for both mothers and their babies. New mothers often feel a whirlwind of emotions—joy, anxiety, and stress—as they navigate this significant life change. It’s completely normal to have these feelings, but it’s crucial to address them, especially issues like postpartum depression and anxiety.
Creating a supportive space where mothers can openly express their feelings makes a world of difference. Therapy can provide that space, helping mothers explore their emotions and gain coping strategies. Incorporating self-care methods, like mindfulness practices or regular moments of relaxation, can also help in managing stress and anxiety.
Accessing helpful resources, whether community support groups or educational materials about newborn care and parental wellbeing, can further strengthen resilience. Focusing on maternal mental health doesn’t just empower mothers; it sets the foundation for building a strong bond with their baby. When mothers feel confident and supported in their new role, it leads to happier and healthier families, making the journey of parenthood a little more fulfilling and a lot less overwhelming.
